Bronwyn has served at St. Johns Vancouver as a volunteer bible study teacher and group facilitator in their Women at 10 Ministry for thirty years.  She has also been instrumental in developing and teaching Catechism materials at their church. Bronwyn was a long-term board member for the Vancouver ministry Liveword, has been a guest teacher for Charles Simeon Trust Women’s Workshops, and has taught at many retreats and events. 

Jan served at St. John’s Vancouver as the Director of Women’s Ministry and Community Groups for nearly 20 years, and was also a board member for Liveword.  She has recently retired and is looking forward to spending time investing in women, developing their leadership skills at other churches. Jan has also taught with the Charles Simeon Trust, and led many women’s retreats and events.

Kristal served as a volunteer bible study leader for 5 years when she was a young mom. Since 2009 she has served in various roles at Northview Community Church: administrative assistant, Pastor of Women, and more recently the Pastor of Discipleship.  While studying at Regent College, Kristal became convinced that the skills being taught through Women in the Word faithfully represent techniques used by biblical scholars, but are much simpler to understand and clear to apply! 

Karalyn is the Director of Crossridge Women at Crossridge Church in Surrey. She developed her love for God’s word and her passion for Inductive Bible study while serving with her husband in Kona, Hawaii at YWAM’s School of Biblical Studies Program for 5 years. When they returned to Canada, she had a desire to bring this love of learning into the church community. She was a volunteer leader at Crossridge for 6 years, and was brought on staff in 2020.

Jessica currently serves as a volunteer Bible Study leader at Southridge Fellowship in Langley.  Previously,  she spent several years on staff as a Youth Ministry Assistant at another church, and used many of the tools she learned through Women in the Word to train youth leaders and youth group members to study and apply the Scriptures.  Jessica teaches at our workshops. and also provides administrative help to our team!

Taylor is on staff as the Director of Communications at Centre Church in Vancouver, and benefitted from training, mentorship and a short term position with University Christian Ministries at UBC. Taylor and her husband served for several years as volunteer leaders for the Young Adults Bible Study at their church: working through biblical books and using the methods taught at Women in the Word.  She has also trained community group leaders in this inductive method.
